Overview
Galvanization protects iron and steel from rust and corrosion by coating it with a layer of zinc. On request we galvanize chains, chain accessories and other steel items.
The most common method is hot-dip galvanizing: after degreasing and acid cleaning, the steel is immersed in molten zinc at around 450°C, forming a strong, metallurgically bonded coating that lasts for decades. Each item is then cooled and inspected for a uniform, correct-quality coating.
